- Catholic and active in the U.S. Church - Experienced in service to the poor - Age 23 or older - A U.S. citizen or permanent resident - In good physical and psychological health - Single; a married couple; or a family with no more than two children, seven years old or younger. - Willing to make a 3-1/2 year commitment to overseas service - Seeking to live a simple lifestyle - Committed to learning a foreign language - Willing to collaborate in MKLM mission education, fundraising, and sustainability efforts
